Code of Conduct

General Rules & Regulations

  •  Punctuality and regularity in attendance, school uniform, an earnest effort in home work assignment and gentlemanly behavior inside and outside the school, habits of obedience and order, neatness in person and dress, are necessary for environment for learning. The school authorities therefore will always insist on these points and expect the full operation of the parents and Students.
  • All the students are expected to be in School by 7:45 am in Summer and 8:45 am in winter. Late comers will not be permitted to attend the school.
  • Every pupil is expected to be present on the appointed day of the re-opening of the school. All the children are expected to come to school daily in freshly laundered uniform with clean socks and polished shoes.
  • Students should take good care of their books and personal belongings. Each article should be marked with the pupil's name and class.
  • The school is not responsible for the goods lost. We discourage children from bringing any expansive articles to the school.
  • The text-books and exercise books must be covered neatly with brown paper and bear the pupil's name and class in ink on the outer cover and inner page.
  • Each article of the students of PG, Nursery and L.K.G. must bear their names.
  • All children are expected to bring the Tiffin with them for the noon recess. They are not permitted to buy eatables from vendors.
  • Every second Saturday will be a holiday, unless officially informed on the contrary.
  • No school business will be transacted on holidays. 

Student's Code of Conduct

  •  Every student must possess the willingness to comply with the rules and regulations of the school. The students are expected to maintain the decorum of the school and should conduct themselves in a refined manner.
  • English is strictly the medium of communication within the school campus. All conversation between teachers, students and among the student themselves should be in English except in the Hindi period.
  • The school begins with Assembly and all are expected to be present for the same. Students must reach the school at least fifteen minutes before the assembly bell. At the first bell they should all assemble in absolute silence.
  • Latecomers will not be allowed to attend the sessions of the day unless they bring a note to the teacher from the principal. The school reserves the right of sending the latecomers back to their home.
  • The school gate will be closed five minutes prior to the school assembly.
  • All the students must be clean and tidy in their person, dress, hair and manners. Parents are requested to send their children to school neatly dressed without which they will be refused admission to the class. Boys are not allowed to keep long hair or have any hairstyle.
  • Every student should bring the school Diary daily.
  • Punctual and regular attendance, earnestness in home assignments and good behavior in and outside the school are always insisted upon.
  • In all these matters parent's full cooperation is expected at all times. They should check the School Diary regularly and note the Teacher's remarks.
  • Parents are requested to check the SMS sent by the school regularly. In case of any change in contact number the school authorities should be informed.
  • The students should keep their books clean and neatly covered with their name written on them.
  • Students not adhering to the school uniform code may be called for disciplinary action inclusive of being sent back home. 
  • No student should leave the School premises during the school hours without the written permission of the principal.
  • Unknown persons, relatives or servants will be not be allowed to come and fetch the child from the school. In case of an emergency or any unforeseen situation, a copy of the Photo ID of the escort duly attested by the parents must reach the principal along with a written application in this regard.
  • Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence, habitual late coming, disobedience or objectionable behavior of any kind may result in disciplinary action.
  • Homework should be done regularly and submitted to the teachers. Students are awarded marks for regularity in homework.
  • No objectionable reading, video or audio material should be brought or exchanged in the school. If students fail to adhere to it, they will be fined
  • Any kind of damage done to the school property including ink stains/scribbling, writing on the walls, damaging the furniture, misappropriation of the things belonging to others, etc. are serious faults. The damage must be compensated for at the expense of the offender.
  • When a student is unable to attend the Class a leave application must be sent to the Principal giving the reason for his/her absence.
  • If a student continues to be absent for 7 days without any intimation to the Principal, his/her name will be struck off the school rolls. 

DON'Ts for the Student's

Students are liable to be dismissed for the violation of any of these:

  • Habitual late coming.
  • Truancy from school assembly/class examinations/test.
  • Shortage of attendance.
  • Lack of interest towards studies.
  • Rudeness/insubordination towards school authority/teachers.
  • Causing injury to other students.
  • Failure to participate in the co-curricular programs of the school, such as P.T. competitions, debates, quizzes, dramatics, etc.
  • Misuse of internet, uploading of damaging and objectionable material on the social websites.
  • Bringing a motorized vehicle to School campus.
  • Developing unhealthy friendship with a boy or a girl.
  • The meeting of friendly who are outsiders on the school campus.
  • Stealing or helping other to do the same.
  • Spitting, writing on the walls, on the furniture, etc.
  • Vandalizing school property, throwing stones, colors, etc.
  • Bringing and bursting crackers and explosive on the school campus.
  • Smoking, drinking, chewing of addictive substances and bringing the same to the school.
  • Bringing mobile phones, i-pad, cameras, CD's etc. to the college. Once confiscated they will not be returned.
  • Bringing objectionable reading, video or audio material to the school.
  • Keeping the long hair despite reminders. 

Parental Cooperation

  •  The active in involvement of the parents in the education of their child a must.
  • Parents are requested to co-operate with the school by enforcing regularity, punctuality and discipline and by taking interest in their children's progress.
  • Encourage your child to be open minded, eager to learn and to develop new ideas.
  • Expect and encourage your child to listen in a mutually respectful manner to both peers and adults.
  • The school diary serves as a means of communication between the school and the parents, please check it daily and see that the home work assigned for the next day is done and countersign the remarks entered in the diary.
  • Occasional bulletins and notices are sent home with the child to update and inform you of school events.
  • Parents/guardians are requested not to visit the children or meet the teachers during the class hours without the prior permission of the Principal.
  • Ensure that you child is diligent in the homework and lessons, project work and other assignments. There is no shortcut to excellence in result without through and regular studies.
  • Parents/guardians are requested to notify that school office in writing of any change in their address or telephone number. In all communication with the school, the name, standard and division of their children should be clearly mentioned.
  • It is up to the parents to bring to the attention of the principal and the teachers their children's habits or traits of character or any other matter that may need special care and attention.
  • Avoid taking students for holidays and other non-academic events during the academic session.

Recommendation to Parent's

  • Parents and Guardians are requested to Co-operate with the school authorities in all matter concerning formation and education of their children. Parents are to look into the school dairy EVERY EVENING and see that the homework assigned for the next day is done.
  • When communicating with the Principal. please mention in the letter the name, standard and section of the ward.
  • Parents are requested not to enter the class rooms. All dealing with the teachers must be conducted through the Principal.
  • Parents are particularly expected to sign the Principal's or teacher's remark in the diary after reading them. Failure to do this may put their children to great inconvenience.
  • Criticism of child's teacher or the school in the presence of the child should be strictly avoided as it is likely to harm him. Legitimate complaints should be reported to the principal.
  • It the parents have any grievance against any of the teachers, they are advised to meet the Principal and settle the matter amicably.
  • We strongly discourage parents arranging private tuition for the child as it will prove injurious to the pupil's s progress.
  • If you feel that your child does not make the desired progress, the Principal should be contacted. If there is real need of a private tutor, arrange for one only after getting permission from the Principal.
  • As the medium of instruction in the school in English, the children should be helped to follow their classes easily and intelligently by a certain amount of regular English Conversation in the school premises.
  • Parents, teachers and Students are not permitted to make collection of founds form any one for any purpose in the name of the school without the written permission of the principal.
  • Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones. CDs, IPods, Pen drives etc. to the School. Once confiscated they will not be returned. A fine of Rs. 500/- will be charged from any student found with mobile phone in the School.
  • Students are forbidden to bring fire crackers or any other dangerous material to the school. Strict Disciplinary action will be taken against such offenders.
